MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY ARCHITECTURE!

Some ancient but charming usage to remember. There was once a time when you heard from someone by receiving a postcard. Simple piece of card with a nice picture on the front side, few lines to organize the name and address and short white space to say hello and remind the receivers you where somewhere special and thinking about them. Practices that inspire our greeting cards designed from a different perspective to wish your friends and family a Merry Christmas in a personal way.

JUST WALK IT!

We are expanding! Bilbao has always caught our eye as a cultural and architectural hub, and we have been working on a new project of creating personalised guided tours around the city, with tours designed specifically around inspiring interiors, and remarkable changes from the old to the new. As well as the well-established architecture of Bilbao, we’ve made sure to include some of the best developing areas, to really show what can be done with a large space and some great urban planning! Come and explore with us!

Barcelona: building, city & landscape scale workshop

The workshop held on 13th-17th of July, 2015 housed more than 50 students from Manila UST College of Architecture and meant a global journey of 20^th and 21^st century architecture with the aim to encourage the students to engage in cultural and architectural research. Moreover, it included lessons and visits to architectural and urban works. After all, our team organized all on-visit sketches in one portfolio for participants to have a remembrance of this lifetime experience in Barcelona. Enjoy the results!

Barcelona Design Week Open House

With conversation flowing, coffee sipped and contacts exchanged, #cafeCWBCN575 was a huge success with visitors from all different fields. Graphic, industrial product and custom-made furniture designers were among some of the people who stopped by for an Open House coffee and made it an exciting day at the office! What a way to celebrate the last few days of Barcelona Design Week with new friends and colleagues. Thanks to Meits for “illuminating” our working day with your M!

Barcelona from a Catamaran

What a way to see Barcelona from a different perspective…the sea! Admiring Barcelona’s architecture from afar gave us new insights into the city’s port and its striking skyline. Sailing by reconstructed urban spaces such as the Villa Olímpica, the park surrounding the Catalana Gas building and Port Vell was a culturally inspiring experience for arquitectura reversible and our guests. It’s the best way to see how Barcelona has transformed from a maritime fishing port to a modern city harbour.

Barcelona + iPad = Learn and enjoy!

LAB is a new resource based on led-by-architects circuits, developed in English. The aim of the proposal is make the high school students know about urban planning just walking through Barcelona, communicating the history of their self-city as well as discovering something together, using iPads.
